I’m BAAAACCKKKK!!!! It has been a while since I’ve been to the blog here at SpringwaterBathAndBody.com. I’ve taken on a few other projects that have taken up my time for a while. I’m so ready to get back to some soapmaking and personal care products too.

My mineral makeup line has taken on a life of its own over the last year. Tell me your favorite color so I can try something new. Right now we are offering a foundation powder in a light, medium and dark foundation color. This is applied with a Kabuki brush that spreads the powder evenly and with great coverage. Some of the comments we’ve heard is that this lasts even through the rain and through sweating. We are just now adding colors for eyes and cheeks too. What colors would you like to see?

I’m back on track in the lab today. It’s seems like it’s been forever since I made anything new. I jumped in and started  with a small batch of shampoo that will be the best yet. It is now sequestering and will be ready in about 2 weeks. This will fortified with aloe vera and chamomile to soothe. I may make some with green tea also. What is your favorite scent and ingredient combinations?

There is something about spring that makes one think of starting a garden. We aren’t out of the woods yet for freezes this year so I can’t plant some things yet.

I can, however, make some Garden Fresh Cucumber-Melon soap. I did and it smells so delicious here. I’m sure that Neesa, my daughter, will be happy with me again. This is her favorite soap. Most of the pre-teen and teen girls love this stuff. It’s not too sweet but sweet enough.  

The chocolate mint is cut and drying. It will be ready in about a week.

The Vanilla Extraordinaire soap is cut and in the dryer curing. It will be ready in one week. This batch is strong vanilla and smells heavenly. Margaret, it will be ready soon. 

Tonight I am in the process of making some Chocolate Mint. Jenni, this one is for you. My dear sweet DIL loves this stuff. 

We’ll be updating pictures and are making soap molds as they become available. As you can see, you should check back daily as we’re busy working on new things all the time. See you soon.

Well, the site is now ready to take orders. Thank you so much Amy Williams for the site design and setup. Amy did an amazing job in a short period of time and tolerated my times of brain death. If you need website design done, she’s the one to contact. 

Now I just have to make some products for you all. The Citrus Morning Sunshine is made and ready. Tonight I’ll be making some Vanilla Extraordinaire. Check back and see what is going on in the lab and on the site.
